Who We Are

The Hindu Association of Restaurants, Hotels, Aahar & Refreshments (HARHAR) is an international and national-level industry body, envisioned and supported by the World Hindu Economic Forum (WHEF). HARHAR brings together Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Hoteliers, Restaurateurs, Sweets, Namkeen, Chips and other manufacturers, suppliers and retailers, caterers, chefs, food innovators, food grain/pulse/spice processors and manufacturers, and service providers - operating across the spectrum of Hindu culinary and hospitality traditions.

HARHAR is the collective voice of the Hindu-led hospitality and food service sector - grounded in Dharmic values, rooted in Bharat’s rich cultural heritage, and driven by global business ambition.

Our ecosystem spans from local eateries to global restaurant chains, from temple kitchens to five-star elegant and luxury hotels- uniting stakeholders who uphold the essence of Hindu food philosophy while embracing innovation and excellence.

Aligned with WHEF’s broader mission, HARHAR fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing, promotes healthy and hygienic food, and ultimately aims to build a self-sustaining, healthy, and hunger-free society.
